Even at its early stage, as the activities happened, exchange of conversations and interaction with members transpired. This then met the initial objectives to have sharing of knowledge on best practices among users and non-users of HP graphic printers which may be helpful in the growth of the business.
Furthermore, training sessions were held simultaneously in two halls. Weng Kong from HP explained Media and Priming to its attendees. Questions were raised from both participants and Mr. Kong himself. Stella Weng and Calvin Tan of GMG followed after and talked about Color Management.
While in the other session room, Ricelle Cruzado of HP lectured on Color Management for Large format. Proofing was explained by Maan Bernardino of Norde International and she noted that proofing is part of quality control. Through this step, the text, colors and graphics can be reviewed before actual print out. Lastly, to complete the workshop, Tim Klappe explained Latex for short run production, Mr. Klappe elaborated on cost calculation of Offset versus Digital.
