2.   Format = Adobe PDF (Print)

3.   Adobe PDF Preset = PDF/X-1a:2001

4.   Set Bleed to .125”

5.   Export

 

From Adobe Illustrator

 

1.   Save As . . .

2.   Format = Adobe PDF (pdf)

3.   Adobe PDF Preset = PDF/X-1a:2001

4.   Set Bleed to .125”

5.   Save PDF

 

From QuarkXPress

 

1.   File > Export as PDF . . .

2.   PDF Style: = PDF/X-1a:2001

3.   Select Options

4.   Marks = Off

5.   Bleed Settings . . .

       •  Bleed Type: Symmetrical

       •  Amount .125”

6.   OK

7.   Save
